The brand behind Bowker Vehicle Contracts
The bA company created by two of Lancashire’s leading transport families has undergone major development and structural changes whilst modernising their brand to introduce a fresh image as they continue to herald 2007 as a record breaking year.
In 2006, Paul Bowker, Chief Executive of the Bowker Motor Group, and Mark Hindle, director of MNH Platinum, joined forces to provide contract hire and vehicle management services to companies throughout the UK in a partnership that has built a strong foundation to sustain Bowker Vehicle Contracts’ rapid growth. The company now provides a complete fleet service to clients throughout the North West.
2008 has seen the introduction of Steve Barraclough as Managing Director. Steve was previously the Managing Director of Platinum in Wakefield before the two companies merged just over 12 months ago. Chris Whalen has recently undertaken the role of Business Development Manager and will focus on increasing the existing customer base and growing the brand throughout the North West.
From its headquarters in Blackburn, Bowker Vehicle Contracts has also entered a transition of updating their branding which has seen the introduction of a new logo and image. The branding will be rolled out throughout the North West during the remainder of 2008.
Chris Whalen comments, “We felt that as the team internally has grown and the company has gone from strength to strength, it was time to refresh our image and introduce an innovative brand to the marketplace. We continue to provide unrivalled levels of service to companies whether they need just one vehicle for a day or a fleet of 1,000, as while the company is relatively young, the people behind it have decades of experience”.
